Amen, Tari, JSJ, Durant, and Sengun were -13 as a lineup. This is generally a very good lineup for starting games. Ime's adjustments when this lineup fell flat on its face seemed to work other than Reed running out of juice in the 4th.

Blame Ime for not starting Reed throughout the season, such that Stone could have gotten a backup PG at the trade deadline to backup Reed. The Rockets lost this game because the starting lineup got its butt kicked, and Ime riding Reed for offense in comebacks in the 1st half and 2nd half, while the right adjustment, was just not enough.

The Rockets were 7 of 21 and missed a lot of easy shots in the 4th. Blame Ime for not motivating the players well enough. The Rockets should have brought McHale out as a relief coach for the post-game interview. The Rockets didn't play with energy last night.

Agreed - they are not a bottom ten team, they are a top ten team in the NBA. They just are not a top two or three team like some fans thought they would be after going through a rebuild.

Missed this one. Should I still watch it on league pass?

It’s pretty simple. Steve Kerr with 2 significant vets and an entire team of young players and journeyman beating a Rocket team at home with Durant, two-time all-star, DPOY candidate, basically a rookie going off for 30 points. What is the problem here?

If I had woken up with amnesia yesterday and watched this game with no recall of who any of our players are and what they're capable of, I would be here today demanding we trade everybody and rebuild around Reed Sheppard.

It used to be a good lineup when Tari and/or Bari were shooting well. With Tari's shooting down the toilet lately and Bari just came back from injury, Durant was the only reliable shooter out there.

I can't help but wonder how much losing Splitter negatively impacted Sengun's game/development.

Kerr can coach, he is a prick and an ass hole, but he beat us with a bunch of scrubs and Draymond and old man Al

    I’ll give Kerr his flowers

Am I the only one that wants to play the Warriors in the playoffs again?

I think he is top 3 in the nba. Spoelstra and Ime’s replacement.

Rewatching the end of this game I just realized Reed was not on the court the last 1:40 of regulation… right after he got Sengun an easy bucket under the basket.

so he did have a bit of a break before overtime but he wasn’t on the court in the last of the “clutch” minutes of regulation

his offensive touches in OT (ended up touching it more than I remembered)
    - got a three off Durant assist
    - got fouled off ball before he can use a KD screen
    - got a pass from Bari, repositioned and passed it back where he missed the shot but Alpi got the rebound tip in
    - got fouled on a moving screen (3:00)
    - drove in off a KD screen and missed a jumper off the front of the rim (2:10)
    - passed off to KD who was fouled (1:41)
    - rebound passed to KD for a 3 (1:00)
    - passed off to KD who was fouled on the 3 (29.9) - this is where you put in defense for him instead of leaving him on the court IME!

doesn’t touch it the rest of the OT

he missed only one shot (took two) in OT so his legs weren’t as much a factor as I thought watching live

The biggest issue was his lack of rest once he came into the game. He'd come in around 4 minutes left in the 1st, and then he'd play the rest of the half. Same thing happened in the second half. He needs breaks just like every other player on the team. Just start him, and give him the same break that Durant gets, Sengun gets, etc. Especially a player that relies on his legs being fresh to shoot.

Amen and Alperen showed out, what a surprise.
