I, actually, am not yet for sacking JVG...but sometimes doing so during midseason has huge positives. See, e.g. Karl, George

The Nuggets were pretty damn lucky a quality coach like karl was avaliable at that point...... most of the team it sends a wrong a message to the candidate coaches if you sack coach in the middel of a season. the'll be pretty hesitent to take on a team that they have'nt had a training camp or a pre-season with.

Nice little run there. Hope it turns out to be something more than a crazy arm-windmilling dash for the ice cream truck.

Yup. Given how many coaches have been fired during the past two seasons, I think NBA teams will be facing a bit of a shortage of qualified candidates. "What's the point of taking a coaching job with this team if I'm just gonna get fired about a season later?"

As Bill and Clyde said, "Now this is the Stromile we traded for."

Of course, if I recall correctly, we actually just picked him up for the MLE as a free agent, but hey... commentary's like woolen underwear: no matter how irritating, it's the thought that counts.

And this 24-second violation exemplifies the virtues of a "streaky selfish shoot-first point guard."
