Damn, I hope Lin makes up for his bricks in these past few games during the playoffs. He's not playing well right now...
Awesome game by the Rockets.. they are slowly but for surely learning how to play through tough games which will be critical in the playoffs. The Warriors game sure did help pull this W tonight.

instead of looking at numbers, i actually WATCH the game and go by the actual decisions of the players, not the numbers on a piece of paper.
I genuinely believe its all mental with Lin. We've all seen him play great and have seen what he can be. But lately hes been tentative, playing scared and honestly he looks disinterested out there. He's one of those players who needs his confidence to be high to do well. He worked hard this off-season and he played extremely well early on. I think losing the starting spot to bev and not having the support of the staff was a huge blow to his confidence.
Lin needs to give up on that religious BS and start having orgies... 6 partners a night is the minimum... Maybe this will awaken something..
Until the last 5 minutes (which Lin was not a part of), Lin had the highest +/- of any Rocket player on the floor. Sure he was 1-6 but he also had 6 assists and played better defense on Dragic than Beverley did. Lin's ceiling is much higher than Beverley's, but he needs volume shots and ball in his hands to overcome early 1-5's (which EVERYONE, even the likes of LeBron/Durant go through). He also benefits tremendously from screen-and-roll which simply isn't in Rocket playbook. Everyone rather watch Harden ISO at top of the key. At the moment there is no benefit to having a real pg on the team beyond the scrappers like Patrick Beverley. It would be better for both Lin and the Rocket to part ways. I also think Lin knows this and isn't going all out, just like Asik who is also playing very conservatively. Lin would be godly in a real Asian market instead of Houston. He inspires Asian Americans far more than Yao Ming ever did and his story will set him up for amazing things. Long after careers of scrubs like Beverley end, Lin can be running for politics with his Harvard degree and always politically correct answers.
Unusual stat: The Rockets are leading the league in both 3-point attempts and free throw attempts per game. How odd is that combination? The 1983-84 Utah Jazz are the only team to finish a season leading in both categories.
Dunno about all that. I'm sure plenty of people here were happy to see James Harden carry the team to a win. Admit that he was super clutch tonight, hitting all his shots in the clutch and assisting on the game winning shot and throwing in a clutch flop as well.
Are you a moron or what? Lin was playing his best Basketball as the bench guy, he has sucked since...hmmm, what big event. The All-Star weekend.
