I really want Gordon to guard Kawahi and Trevor hang with Aldridge.

Ryno already in the spurs arena putting up shots. That's what you want to see from your guys especially when they know they can be better

Unfortunately, I anticipate the Spurs eeking out a close win here, and closing it up back in H-town on Thursday. God I hope I am wrong....

I think the Rockets got this. They need to be on pace to score 120, but they can do that. We don't have to have perfect defense, only in certain situations to either change the momentum or to start/stop a run. Going small does hurt this, but doesn't completely destroy our chances of still being sound on that end when we need to. I think the rockets close this one out and win by 4/5.

    Rockets 123
    Spurs 119

If the Rockets end up scoring 115+....I just don't think the Spurs will be within 10 points when all is said and done. Rockets have shown that when they are able to execute at their pace.......they blow them out.

and they'll get eaten alive on the defensive end.

How? Ariza is strong and the game plan was always to double Kawahi.

Stretch 5, Dekker and Ariza will man the 4, I hope Clint can stay out of foul trouble

Lou Williams will be the key to this game tonight. He will be playing with Ryno and Dekker in the front court. He'll have an open lane to the basket because they'll have to respect the shooting of Ryno and Dekker.

I highly believe this is the most likely scenario. It would be a miracle to get another W in SA.

    Derrick Stafford
    Rodney Mott
    Zach Zarba

That's the crew tonight. Zarba is obviously awful, and the home team has won 4 of 5 games in the playoffs with Stafford as lead official

Prepare to get angry my friends.

It would be nice if we can actually get a fair whistle from the refs for once in this series. How about start that tonight, eh?

Also, Rockets, play with force and pace. Hit your 3's.

If that happens so be it. Either way, the better team will win this series. We can be proud of the Rockets regardless of the results at the end of the day. This team has clear flaws and could certainly add one more game changer.

That's because Pop tends to sit his guys when the rockets hit that pace. This being a pseudo elimination game, I figured we might see a bit more of the starters than usual in those heightened scores.

Sure....but my point and hypothesis stands. If the Rockets get off to that pace tonight ala game 1/4, Spurs won't be able to keep up. The Starters that play longer would just get more gassed.
