“plenty of 3 point shooters” isn’t playing different. They had 3 point shooters in 21-22 (udoka) as well playing 4 shooters (tatum, smart, brown, horford) and Robert williams. Mazzula only won in 23-24 because they got a stretch 5 who is a dominant paint defender in porzingis and the great Jrue Holliday replacing Smart. But they’ve always been an iso heavy team with their stars and playing 5 out ball.

We don’t even have a balanced roster with no starting true point and no true 2 guard. We also have mistake prone players and 2 starters that literally can’t shoot beyond 10-12 ft. That’s the cold harsh reality

So inspite of all that- Ime had 18 fourth quarter blown leads in Boston. Eighteen! A complete team and he still couldn’t solve the issues of:
1. Stagnant Offense
2. Blowing leads
3. Team playing down to the comp (Heat and Bucks series)

We have the worst OT and clutch records in the league. Thats purely coaching. A player can’t draw a timeout. A player can’t take strategic timeouts to prevent the opponent from gaining ground.

yeah Dillon and JG got us out of jams. I really missed last year’s team. This new team is just disjointed. Doesn’t look right

This is an indictment on Ime which matches the eye test. He is horrible at in game adjustments. It’s always play harder and hope KD bails him out.
