When Harden misses, he makes sure he misses EVERYTHING. Smfh.

Yeah we didn’t take advantage at all, freaking losers. Do they expect us to keep supporting guys who refuse to show up and take games seriously?

 

Smh. Put Rivers, McLemore, and Chandler back in. Their defense is what got us the 13 point lead in the first place.

 

Man, this team is pretty similar to the 16-17 Rockets. They're a good regular season team because they have great offensive nights that can overpower their otherwise terrible defense, but this team isn't built for the Playoffs. I know homers like to be optimistic, but the hot shooting isn't coincidental. They don't care if a 6'3" guard is contesting their 3s. The Rockets don't have the length to be a good defensive team, and therefore, every game is going to be close because of the Rockets' streaky offense and atrocious defense.

 

Problem with the Rockets is not effort, but discipline. They are very indiscipline for a pro team. It starts with MDA to Harden to role players like House. And because they have been successful last couple of seasons playing this brand of basketball, they won't stop playing this way.

 

Capela can be so useless at times

 

Gonna be an unwatchable Defense all year long. Pathetic.

 

The Rockets famously had an 0-27 three point streak that cost them an appearence in the NBA finals and neither D'Antoni, or the front office learned anything from this. The long scoring droughts have been at least as signficant in explaining their failures as their defensive performance. I just don't have faith that D'Antoni is open to making the adjustments that this team needs. Forget what happens in a random regular season game, I just see long standing issues and little movement to deal with them.

 

Our uniforms look out of place in they all gray Barclays center.

 

Trash defense, stepback 3, repeat

 

When the team is down 9 you do not take a step back three...Attack.

 

Over a course of 82 games I don't know...

 

I guess guess harden going for the most missed 3’s record.

He might not finish over 35% from 3 on the season at this rate.

 

If MDA is in charge of the defense, no team is built for the playoffs.

this brand of basketball was not the rockets defensively the last couple of seasons. this defense is atrocious. worst in the league

 

Harden purposely slowing down the offense as much as possible, continues to take contested ISO shots despite him clearly being off and having extremely slow legs tonight, and essentially sabotaging on defense by being super lazy and heavy legged.

This is garbage.

 

Every game has been a struggle... we looked great first half against the Bucks. After that it's been a struggle to look like a contender.
