GUARANTEEING A SPECTACULAR NIGHT OF HATING FOR THE MDA HATERS AND ALL OTHER KINDS OF HATERS can't wait
Hope we make it boring. Want to see all the Huerter hype going on NBA twitter. Collins is a beast and want to see Capela and Faried showing him how to dunk. Also have the feeling of some Bearding tonight, something along a 50pt game to keep up on the MVP Race.
That means D'Antoni is saving Nene for the Spurs on Friday. Lots of minutes for House with Shumpert and EG resting.
I'm already furious Man , I just once want a blowout where we keep our foot on the enemy and harden doesn't play in the 4th . I just once want harden to be able to relax and take time off to fully prepare for the playoffs . I think this is the best way forward for us to win the championship Many other teams rest their best players to try and gain an edge in the postseason . We are one of the few teams that tend to eschew this idea . I think that when people look back a couple of decades from now there will be 1 of 2 viewpoints . 1. What the hell were nba teams doing resting players so much ? it doesn't play a big role in injury prevention / energy advantage in the playoffs 2 what the hell were teams doing NOT resting players ? It's clear that it leads to better future outcomes in terms of keeping a player healthy and them having an extra step when they play I think the current evidence ( mostly eye-test) points to number 2 . I'm sure the rockets staff is doing their due diligence . I just don't have confidence in the the training staff . I think if they are waiting for data to govern their decision , good data on player health won't become available anytime soon . MDA has said before that "the evidence to support resting isn't there " And I agree if you are simply looking at players getting hurt playing on a b2b . But the simple hurt / not hurt value doesn't fully inform you .
