    Has he become gun shy on vicious slams, or was he just off-footed there.

    So just a game of Harden and Westbrook chucking up shots and then complaining when their teammates can't hit shots when the game is close because they suck so badly at defense they can't even stop the crappy Cavs.

    This team can be a fun offensive team in the regular season when Gordon comes back, but that's where it stops. Their defense is atrocious, and this team looks like a 2nd round exit at best. They'll get smacked around by teams that are good on both ends (Lakers, Bucks, Clippers, Sixers, etc.).

    No one wants to admit it here because they're still holding out hope. The team lacks heart, and most of their decent offensive players are trash on defense. Homers get outraged and try to argue that Harden should be on some list of the best defenders. Above average defenders have the energy and discipline to defend for all 4 quarters. He doesn't.

    This team needs to understand they have to buy completely in on defense if they really want to win a title.

    The offense will always be there and defense will create offense anyways.

    Harden's just a glorified Trae Young this year. Sometimes, he's on offensively. Sometimes, he's not. Either way, most of the time, he's giving up just as many points on the other end and not really caring about defense.
