while giannis might give us fits, i'm worried about bogdanovic going on a tear.. would've loved to have ryno for this one to have more spacing...pj's shot needs to fall tonight too i think we lose a close one though..
This would be the "perfect" game to lose, so to speak. Second night back-to-back, switching over time zones and losing an hour, coming off big win against conference opponent, other team has a few guys that could potentially go off. Hopefully they care so much about the streak at this point that their guard will be up, but anything is possible.
I think they know this will be another game that will test us - the coaching staff, the guys. We took care of business in OKC, and some of the media's talking heads thought that was a streak ender for our heroes. They were wrong, because we stepped up. We'll step up again tonight, in my not so humble opinion. Jeff Van Gundy said Saturday during the game that he didn't see us losing very many games the rest of the season. Let's not make him a liar. Not tonight. Rockets by 12.
Harden was very average last night and I predict he will go off and get us another W! Also Bucks don't beat good teams usually.
If there was a team equipped to handle a "one game at a time" approach riding a 16-game winning streak, it's the Rockets. Usually an elite team would feel fatigue having winning so many games in a row, but the Rockets could conceivably win out as ridiculous as that sounds. Not saying they will, but one game at a time, this team has shown us they can play and treat each successive game as a game within a vacuum.....
my confidence in this team remains high like always Rockets win and extend their streak to 17 straight games
I thought the streak would end with the Denver/Utah B2B... I was wrong.. I don't see why this would be any more difficult.
