    Look, another example of the whole team trying to get Jalen everything leads to another subpar loss.

    Who could've possibly foreseen forcing the teams best player to play an entire half catching, standing still, scanning for where Green is and doing nothing but trying to get him the ball - would've had a bad result.

    Shocking game from Ime. How does Sengun go the entire half with not one attack at Jonas from the perimeter. The thing Sengun is literally elite at. Even more so when he has the speed advantage over Jonas.

    But no. Force him to catch, do nothing but search for Green, or work his magic to generate a wide open 3 for his teammates which, tonight did what they have done most of the season and missed.

    This coaching staff really needs to find the line between letting your best player play properly, and getting Jalen involved organically.

    Are we really surprised when this is the night Alpi puts up when that first half he was essentially iso'd out of it and can't get into a rhythm? The entire history of basketball is littered with 'get the big man involved offensively to get him involved everywhere'. It wasn't even very long ago Sengun destroyed this Pelicans team for the W. Sure these are all just coincidences though.
