    Like a really weird way to say he’s a better secondary option than other teams have.

    Why is that bad?

    What he does and how he does it in the team concept works against lower talent and doesn’t work against good teams.

    The difference in effectiveness versus different levels of competition isn’t this equal scale that affects every player the same and you just assume a slight drop off.

    Against bad teams his weaknesses can be hidden and his strengths can be on full display. The reverse happens against good teams.

    We have to beat good teams to win championships..

    I don’t know what is so hard to understand.
