Harty is the only one I would keep.

When the rockets get healthy they just need some little tweaks to the rotation.

Obviously you want westbrook and harden playing as much as you can, but when harden is off the floor, westbrook needs to be playing alongside gordon and house. You cant play him with rivers and mclemore. 3 brick layers on the floor at the same time is not a good look. As much as it sucks to say, you probably play harden with the worst lineup, because he can elevate scrubs and produce with trash around him more than any other superstar in the league.

I have very little faith in MDA to open up the rotation when fully healthy...

My main blame though is Houston sports in general.

Because he is a 7 footer with range - so there is some potential to be a contrast for Capela.

That's right. A few less minutes of our other 3 benchwarmers, McLemore, Sefalosha, and Rivers, and More for Hartenstein and Clemons might equal more points, blocks, and rebounds. Add in an "unnamed forward" (DMO would work) to share time with Tucker and I think we might just be a little better.

Totally missed this game. However, from examining the box score it appears the following caused the loss.

1. Harden was terrible from 3.
2. D'Antoni only played 7 guys and two of them, Rivers and McClemore, sucked.
3. D'Antoni did not play Hartenstein despite the fact the Rockets are undefeated in games in which Hartenstein receives meaningful minutes.

Does that sum it up?

 

Its games like this that make me wonder if James really knew “ what we need to do” to get batter from last season.

 

Pretty much and #4 Westbrick being Westbrick

 

Harty definitely needs more playing time.
