    • Their leader in shots less than 10 feet is Zaza, followed by Deron and Parsons. Dirk doesn’t shoot many shots close because he has trouble beating people to the basket. Zaza likes to shoot layups standing under the basket off of offensive rebounds. That’s his game.
    • Charlie, Felton, and JJ suck on defense. Their only good perimeter defender is Wes. Zaza and McGee are their only inside defenders. Attack Charlie, Dirk, and JJ in the P&R. Their only good P&R defenders are Zaza, Chandler, Wes and maybe Deron. Consider JJ and Harris out of the play on defense when there man is more than one pass away.
    • Dirk and Wes love to catch and shot. Followed by Charlie then Deron and Parsons.
    • They like to swing it around the 3pt line for quick open looks. Deron & Dirk like to pull up, followed by JJ, Felton, and Mathews then Parsons and Harris. Parsons is more likely to take it all the way to the basket once he crosses the 3. Try to make them shoot these shots outside of the paint with a hand up. Play mind games and try to keep them guessing.
    • McGee is their only shotblocker.
    • Charlie, Harris, and Barrea suck at closing out. Felton sucks at contesting.
    • Attack Charlie and Dirk in transition and they’re easy to blow by on drives. Harris and JJ are good for a few easy baskets in transition if you’re sneaky.
    • Dallas is 6th in 3PM/3PA at 9.5 out of 28.1 shooting 33.8%.
    • They are second to last in OREB. Zaza, McGee, and Powell account for 6.7 of the 9 OREB, especially Zaza. Without Dwight they will want rebounds and easy tip-ins, especially when they’re down.
    • They don't get many steals because they lack athleticism, length, and quickness.
    • Dead last in blocks because of what I just said.
    • McGee is shooting 50% FT. Be physical with him.
    • They only have one player capable of scoring inside and posting up in Dirk. He loves those 10-12 foot jumpers and faders. Attack him on offense, & in transition.
    • Wes loves to shoot from the corner then wing 3. Felton and Parsons like the corner. Dirk is usually at the wings/top of the arc looking for his shot.
