Clutchfans Game Thread: Magic @ Rockets 11/16/2025

1st half:

First off, there is no shame in the offense struggling against the Magic's defense. What disturbs me is how lax and lazy the Rockets defense has been so many times. Missing two key players, it seems the Magic got their heads and hearts together and decided to bring extra energy on both ends tonight. The Rockets seem totally unprepared for it.

KD and Reed are the only two who seem locked in. KD recognized early what was going on and raised his intensity to match. He needs to be more careful with the ball.

Reed was magical with 10/5/1 in just one half. The Magic have adjusted their defense to key on him. The 2nd half will be interesting.

Alpi has to man up and play tougher. Refs don't feel like calling many touch fouls.

Amen was a flaming train wreck.

Holiday offered a boost. If the Magic cool off some, maybe change course and give him more minutes than Okogie in the 2nd half. Maybe. Perhaps in the 3rd quarter.

Adams is a monster. Seems like the Rockets didn't get many o-rebounds off his deflections.

 

Completely unacceptable!

 

Just now catching up with the game... I was afraid of this when I saw Wagner was playing.

Magic are better without no-defense chucker Banchero.

Is Amen injured.. he looks slower and less aggressive than usual.

 

we better win the title this season because the Clippers are about to hand OKC a top 5 pick in a strong draft and then own the Clippers pick unprotected next season

Reed is the only reason we are in this game. Amen and Okogie playing like g-leaguers. Alpi and Bari looking like they just woke up.
