It works for the Warriors because of how well liked they are compared to the Rockets. They're protected by the league, it's obvious.

Rockets are one of the most hated teams outside of Houston, Warriors are the complete opposite, even with KD joining them. We need every advantage we can get too win, turning the refs against us is a terrible idea and has come back to bite us in the playoffs multiple times.
