ClutchFans Game Thread: Kings @ Rockets 11/17/2018

Turned to the game thread & saw it had only 20 pages. Rockets musta won !

 

If we had lost this game thread would be as much as last night's win LOL.

 

I could see it as an opportunity to test 1 or 2 new plays with a real opponent when the game is no longer on the line.
I understand the probability of injury but that still exists in practice as well.

 

because our 3rd stringers can allow 10 pts a minute

 

This team, barring injuries, looks pretty damn good. Gotta admit I was wrong about Melo, had no idea having him on the team would cast such a shadow.

Only 2 losses behind GS now!

 

2 games outta first so yea, feeling much better about the season.

 

I'm thinking Melo would still be on the team if this team would have just shot better to start the season. The defense was crappy with Melo, but even a couple of games before he was vanished, the Rockets had a couple of good defensive games. Shooting had been the issue the whole time. Suddenly guys are hitting shots, Paul is not looking worn out, Capela is finally back to his high 70% shooting games, Harden is starting to finish much better at the rim and even Gordon is playing better, and suddenly we just look a whole lot better. No matter what, Clark fits much much much better than Carmelo ever did.

 

Capela impressed me tonight with his ball handling skills. No! He's not a point 5 yet, but that bounce pass for a back door lay up was impressive!

 

yep, hate to be that guy, but i told you so, doubters!

 

They're banged up spiritually, haven't you heard? lol

 

hahhaah! too bad spiritual recovery/growth takes time
