i will say this is a credit to Brewer, he is driving more and taking less threes, which is a good thing. Last 4 games Brewer has shot over .500, that is the style of offence he should only be allowed to do

Clint with 20 points on 10-19 shooting, 8 rebounds, 5 assists & a block. Is time to admit he could be a Top 10 Center? He's gaining confidence with each passing week.

    Firstly, Juck the Fazz again

Great Rockets win. I never felt uncomfortable and was always confident in the coast to coast W

    Positives

    1. Harden was his usual beast self. Started off shooting 7/9 but then cooled down. Zero turnovers was perfect and his D was very good.
    2. Gordon has been the best off season acquisition. He has the perfect role of the bench and the light to shoot which he does very well
    3. Bev has come back and settled in. His D is a positive and his energy has rubbed off
    4. Biggest positive was Capela balling all night. He had some sweet low post moves and even a Capela shake. Growth of Capela right before us
    5. Nene was excellent and efficient off the bench and solidified the C position
    6. Brewer was decent considering his low standards

    Negatives

    1. Rhyno still looks cold and ddin't find his shot
    2. Ariza's injury. Hope he recovers ASAP as he is our best perimeter defender

Solid win. Good to see Capela taking the fight to his buddy Gobert. Beverley makes the whole team better, good to see him back.

Now let's hope Ariza is fine. Next to Capela and of course Harden, he's the one player we can't afford to miss.

He is not playing a lot of minutes, I give credit to MDA for that. Brewer's best years he averaged low minutes, I would still reduce his minutes more in favor of KJ.

Granted the j*zz were under strength with Favors, Hill and Diaw not playing, but they don't really look like a solid legit western contender as touted by so many in the preseason. Both them and Portland are highly overrated.

Clint had a good game overall , but if you go watch the first 5 or so minutes again you will see that he was an absolute monster . He didn't get many blocks tonight but he played incredible run defense and altered many shots .

Offense is just gravy . He will improve on that in time .

Clint is quick ... Really quick . He's going to keep getting better and is going to help our defense tremendously

We'd look pretty bad too if we lost Ryno, Nene, and Bev for a game lol.

3 rotation players out is a big deal . We barely turned the ball over tonight and didn't win THAT impressively . A lot of it was our shooting was down , but Utah has Gobert and he did a great job protecting the rim .

Utah looks pretty good considering they were down 3 good players .

Yes but we were not touted as a contender by the so called experts. They don't look like the defensive machine people had them in the preseason. I think they and the Lakers and the Wolves will be fighting for the 8 spot.

Maybe, but they looked better last season as a defensive unit. They just don't scare me. Granted having Favors (an elite interior defender) will help.

The teams in our ball park like the Grizzlies scare me a lot more now that they are starting getting it together

Jazz are a great team, we should've pushed that lead, but got stagnant, too many threes and just took them a bit lightly. Also some fouls weren't called, we got frustrated a bit. It's alright, still a lot of progress to be made.

ESPN is still debating if they want to show that Harden cook move on Exum.

They would have Breaking News on ESPN / Espn 2 / News / if Curry or Westbrook did that.

Jazz missing two of their very best players; one of which, was Western conference player of the week *sarcastic wink emoji*

Jazz are a very deep team. I didn't see it before. I see it now.
