It's scary to think our bench will only becoming better once Tucker and Knight comes back. Tonight game was what I expected from Houston. Coming out with some issues but fixing them up and finishing strong. Can't wait for Thursday game, have tickets to go.

Carmelo miraculously turned into the fastest player on the Rockets:eek:

He's the first one down the court every time standing in that corner like "gimme gimme gimme!!!"

It's different than playing with Westbrook knowing even if you're wide open, you're still not getting the ball.

If Melo is okay with this role, sometimes going to work but catch and shoot mainly he will be a plus. I love watching Ennis, Caboclo and even Chriss. Gerald Green will have some competition for his minutes, I’m tired of his biting on everything and losing his man on D. Caboclo seems to be a better defender already. One game though.

As I've said... I believe rumors of Melo's demise have been greatly exaggerated... ;)
He certainly didn't look "washed" to me... lol

Only one way for the hefty lefty to shed that belly.

Is JB seriously stupid enough to start Gasol/Green/Parsons in the frontcourt? There isn't a single team in this league who won't drop 120 on them.

Why even play vets with this roster? What's wrong with this guy.

This roster looks stacked af, everyone on the bench will have competition for minutes except Gordon

No way Melo and Ennis gonna start over Tucker. Need to mitigate melo's defensive liabilites by him coming off bench.

Melo is so much better than Anderson. He can actually do more than catch the ball and go into a head fake seizure.

MDA approaches preseason games like regular season games. While other teams are playing it cool and sitting stars, Rockets are getting the kinks out before the games count. I like it.

I was randomly watching last year's preseason highlights, Ryno was launching and making everything. That ankle injury doomed him. Fultz-like memory of how to shoot after his ankle injury, smh.

Such a silly way of thinking, as if the Celtics would want, say, Hayward "off the bench to mitigate his defensive liabilities." You start your best 5 bro...

I don't even remember. Ryno was out for a while. Fans thought he was faking his injury.

Dude got some of his thumb sliced off by broken glass in his garbage can, plays fine, but sprains his ankle and he forgets how to play NBA basketball with Harden and CP3 passing to him?!

    OK...
