It’s going to have to become one, or he has to be willing to play off the ball. Because the book is out now, and every elite team the Rockets face will use this defense until Harden starts taking what they give him and burning them for it. He would have been wise to spend the entire offseason making a mid-range floater another deadly offensive weapon.

If Harden makes a few floaters in a row, or passes to an open teammate and he buries the shot on a few possessions in a row, teams will back out of this junk defense against him. But, as long as he remains stubborn and determined to take tough step-back threes against it, they will stay in it the entire game.

Mike was never hired to coach a winning team. He was brought here because Le$ wanted fast-paced offenses that could sell tickets. Now that we are serious, Mike has to go. I don't know who is out there that could take us to that next level, but it clearly isn't Mike.

    I was encouraged honestly.

Bucks are a great team and always tough defensively. We had too many bricks between Harden and Gordon and you need more from Rivers.

I like Russ being Russ. Sky for rebounds and force that fastbreak. We got so few easy baskets last year. Let Russ pinball his way to the basket most of the time it works.

Mike's in-game adjustments suck so bad that if you gave him that ridiculous lineup Golden State used to have he'd probably still find a way to **** it up.

Well then that's even worse for the Rockets because I don't think they're getting rid of Harden who has had plenty of bad moments throughout his career, especially in the postseason. He definitely always struggles against the Bucks.

You don’t make a coaching change in season, unless you are punting on the idea of winning a championship this year. This offseason, fine.

Seeing Harden take responsibility for his bad performance is nice, at least. It's what a leader should do, and I believe that games like this will be few and far between this year.

The next game will be against a scrappy Pelicans team missing Zion, so if we smash them I'll feel pretty good about where we're headed.

I agree. There is too much pressure on Harden (and Russ) to be smart. I know that sounds silly, but the Coach has to put the team in a position to win and it never seems like MDA does that (enough).

Giannis went out with 5 minutes left and Bud called BroLo's number. That's putting your team in a position to win.

Maybe harden should've worked on hitting stepback 3 with someone shading his left instead of one legged 3's?

    This season is over.

We will look great I’m sure of it and we will bounce back but the league office is attacking Hardens style of play. This we be prominent in the moments that matter the most.

Unless they do it very early in the season like now (which won't happen). You're right, Mike should have already been back at home. Sadly we are going to waste this season of Harden/Westbrook's primes on Mike's garbage.

I just checked the final score when I got home. My only question is how in the hell did we lose this game

Man no matter what roster we have, Rockets having a lead dont mean crap. I never feel comfort when we are up double digits most of the game I saw that we was up from work and came home and saw we lost, Its insane.
