media screwed harden out of 2 mvps that they used the criteria both times to give the award to the more popular player If the media were fair and didnt do dumb **** like leave harden off all-nba in 2016, then most of clutchfans would have no issue with the media. We just dont trust them to do whats right when it comes to James Edward Harden.. which is sad.. its the only pro sport in america where whoever is more popular wins, even the shady nfl gives mvps to and all-pro selections to the right players

I think it's more of the fact that, without these "hot takes" shows, there wouldn't be much to talk about on a day-to-day basis, or on a day where the Rockets didn't play previously, or even in the offseason. Also, if a random poster had the same thought as Kellerman / SAS / Skip and decides to make a thread about it, the thread will probably get a total of 3 posts (the OP and then two posters with "inb4 the lock"). But if Kellerman / SAS / Skip brings it up and a thread is posted about that hot take, then all of a sudden, the thread gets 5 pages overnight.

As I see it, the ONLY reason for you or anyone else to get their panties in a bunch over this is that deep down you believe this to be true. This is choice. Cowherd doesn't understand stats, and thinks because Harden got 115 points UNASSISTED to HIM that Harden didn't toss out assists TO OTHERS. And then goes on a rant BASED on this. Incredible. It is one thing to take a "debate position" and another to take it on "incorrect data."
