I mean... We shed cap and get a guy (if healthy)... Who could maybe do damage. More gearing up for FA.
Trades never happen the way they are leaked. I highly doubt we offered two starters for Noel. Maybe Noel and #24 It would be hard to part with PBev as he's our only PG with experience. We're not drafting a PG to start so we'd have to have a trade for a PG in the works.
seriously? Noel has the potential to be a more athletic DeAndre Jordan. Why would offering Ariza and Bev be a terrible trade?
Thad is in his prime and a good complimentary piece..I could see him really well next to Harden. Ariza is past his prime but a good vet presence. Slightly worst value.
Is it too much to ask for Houston sports radio to devote more than 10 minutes to the NBA draft when their is nothing happening with the Texans right now? They would rather talk about Watt picking his nose than anything Rockets.

I got love for Bev but if he nets the Rockets a first rounder of any sort you take it and run. Same with Ariza. With Brewer you take a sharp jab at the nut sack from the other GM and call it even. The Rockets likely have to pay another team to take him.
Rockets trading Brewer or Ariza or Beverley for just a 1st round pick gets them 1) the pick and 2) more cap room to get closer to being able to offer 2 max FA contracts.
