I don't know who the #3 team was, but the previous #1 team was Mike Ditka's 1985 Chicago Bears, with Buddy Ryan as defensive coordinator, and they definitely won the Super Bowl in 1986, 52-10 over the New England Patsies, err Patriots. ------------------ "Blues is a Healer" --John Lee Hooker
Baltimore 9 NYG 0 I don't think you can call the Ravens D the best ever until they win the Super Bowl. But if they put up a dominating performance vs. the Giants, you have to consider them in the same class as that Bears squad. ------------------ "Thirty-seven?" -Randall, Clerks www.clutchtown.com
One other thing... If anyone would have told me at the beginning of the season that Trent Dilfer and Kerry Collins would be squaring off against each other in the Super Bowl, I'd have thought they were insane! ------------------ "Blues is a Healer" --John Lee Hooker
Everytime there is a two week delay the superbowl bites. If there was any year that couild prove that theory, it is this year, because both teams should play a close game. both teams lack an offense. Personally, I think the Giants have discovered a bag of magic beans. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
Giants 31 Ravens 13 ------------------ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." - Gandhi
Browns 23 Giants 0 ------------------ "I have to say, I don't understand why these Rockets' fans are booing Scottie." -Calvin Murphy
I know the defenses are great and everything but how do you score negative points? ------------------
Ravens 16 Giants 9 President Bush, calling the Baltimore locker room to congratulate them after the game, asks to speak with Cal Ripken, Jr.
Ravens - 21 Giants - 10 probably another boring Superbowl ... I think we'll will be better entertained by watch reruns of last year! ------------------ its all good and fun till someone gets hurt ... then its absolutely hilarious!
Any score in which the Giants win the game will be fine with me!!! Giants - 21 Baltimore - 14 ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! Counting down the days till January 27, 2002 (Superbowl 36 in New Orleans).
