For someone that is so much into his image and has a huge ego, that fake time magazine cover article got to be so embarrassing and painful. And we all know Trump is a fighter and will punch back.

Broccoli doesn't make you delusional. But perhaps being delusional is good for you.

I said many things so I don't know what part you are talking about as speculation. It is a fact that the USPS isn't allowed to make special deals that are damaging to the USPS.

It is a fact that the USPS has said that their deal with Amazon is beneficial to them and already helps them financially.

It is a fact that Trump has complained about the Washington Post's coverage of him.

So if Trump is personally asking the postmaster to raise prices that they charge Amazon, it is a fact that he is potentially ruining what the USPS already says is a beneficial deal.

Let's get this straight. None of the above is speculation.

Was it speculation when Chavez of Venezuela went after press that published unfavorable stories on him that it was for another reason?

You haven't answered @txtony question. Why would you believe Trump over the USPS? Trump's track record as a liar and as a negotiator both are far worse than the USPS.

Trump has shown he is a horrible negotiator. Now, if Trump was trying to negotiate anything on behalf of the USPS, the USPS should be worried and do whatever they can to halt that process.

Why is Trump going after a deal the USPS says is beneficial to them?

Going after a beneficial deal doesn't make sense unless you have something against one of the parties in the deal.

So which party does Trump have something against?

We already know that Trump has lied about how beneficial the deal is to the USPS. So Trump has a record of not only general dishonesty and lying but lying on this very topic.

In this thread, you are arguing that Trump is trying to make more money for the USPS while at the same time suggesting that Amazon which does help the USPS could go to another carrier.

In other words, you are once again not making sense. You had to twist and move your goalposts in another thread recently, and not it's happening again.

The only thing that is a partial failure as opposed to a total failure in this thread is your consistent attempt to use phraseologies in your posts to try and make you sound more like the real pgabriel. You sprinkle in things you think sound like something he would have said. They are awkward and off but only a partial failure at this point.

i think its the same person. he acted exactly like this during obama years. he would bring up things nobody was talking about (like he is doing in this thread), change the goalposts when what he said was proven wrong, say that "nobody cares" when confronted with something that upsets him. he even childishly throws around the word "stupid" or "stupid ass" all the time. he calls people vulgar names all the time too...ive seen him call people assholes and in this thread he calls people "nagging b****es". i got my account suspended once for calling someone a moron but he can use profanities in his name calling. its the same guy...just different president.

he gets more upset at people calling out liars than the liars themselves.

he got really upset when people criticized obama, but now endlessly defends the person who was his biggest critic and the person who is systematically dismantling all of obamas legislative achievements. pgabriel doesnt care about policy...its all about being a toadie for authority figures and its pretty obvious.

the USPS has been broke decades before there was an Amazon.

with e mail, text messaging, Facebook, Twitter, et al, people no longer send mails, worsening USPS's financial condition.

Amazon has been a savior for the USPS, providing it a much-needed revenue stream to counter the adverse effect of the internet age. no less an authority than the PostMaster General, who has repeated told the dotard that the Amazon contract has been beneficial to the USPS

not only has Amazon been beneficial to the USPS, it has also been beneficial to Ivanka Trump's fashion business.

Amazon has been the ultimate job creater / savior, and the dotard wants to punish it ! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

you can't possibly be that stupid.

it it wasn't for the additional revenue stream from the Amazon contract, USPS would have already laid off. many postal workers

    FWIW, it's about Bezos,
who has public records (tax returns, etc.) to support that he is much wealthier than the dotard,
who is projecting his envy / inferiority complex

He gave his opinion on the deal.

It's no big deal. Definitely not an abuse of power going after Bezos.

    That's nonsense

this only corroborates , unsolicited, my point that

you lack the mental capacity to understand what abuse of power is.
thanks for the corroboration, but i don't need the help !

    quintessential abuse of power:

POTUS pressured postmaster general, on several occasions, to double the shipping rates for Amazon

Postmaster general Brennan has repeatedly resisted Trump’s demand, explaining that the rates are set in contracts and that any changes would have to be approved by regulators, the Washington Post reported.

She also told Trump that the Amazon relationship was beneficial for the Postal Service and that many other companies also partner with the service for deliveries. Nevertheless, Trump has continued to claim, facts-free, that Amazon is being subsidized by the Postal Service.

When the President of the United States is pressuring the postmaster general to double the rates for Amazon whom he promised to go after when we know that he has a grudge against the Washington Post, then it isn't him just giving an opinion. It is a definitive example of abuse of power.

Is this another Joy Reid thread for you?
