    Hmmm earlier when Yao's injury is announce. I seem to remember there is a couple thread that have stated that because of Yao's season ending injury, Rox will be allowed a 16 player roster this season.

    Can someone dig it up again. As a member I can only search throught 5 pages of the forum.

    I don't see Cook sniffing PT next year, so he is a likely a candidate for being shown the door. Barry also might find PT hard to find.

    I doubt Morey throws away $5.6 million in expiring contracts... it'd mean paying tax AND losing a possible asset at the deadline

    1) To my knowledge, there is NO provision for a 16 member roster in the CBA...injuries or not.

    2) you CAN look as far back as you want....simply change the options in the (From the) drop-down box at the bottom to however long ago you want to look.

    You can get a "temporary exemption" of up to 2 weeks by applying to the league.
    But that would only be granted to a team that was struggling with injuries so badly that it couldn't field 8-10 players.

    So if Brooks, Lowry, Hayes and Cook all got injured, then the league might give us 2 weeks grace to have 16 rostered players while someone recovers from an injury.

    But that's at league discretion.
