    Tree of Life was hard to appreciate. However, I loved certain elements like the setting and the amazing cinematography. I'm surprised to see another movie from him so soon.

    Tree of Life was semi-autobiographical, which is why it seems so strange to people. Also it portrays the beginning and the end of the universe

    Terrance Mallick movies are not meant to be easy to understand and are about much larger questions than are usually tackled by movies.
