I doubt it, Pritchard has been blackballed by the league from my understanding.

I think they will hire David Griffin from Phoenix.

I think it's mainly due to the email that was sent out by the Blazers that basically threatened any team that signed Darius Miles a couple seasons ago. If Darius played 10 games for any one team, the Blazers would have to take an 18 million dollar salary cap hit from Miles' contract.

Memphis called their bluff, signed him, and he played the 10 games. :grin:

So.. let me get this straight just for future reference. Your take on this is that paying Carmelo the max is overpaying? A top 5 scorer in the league? Damn guys be real.. if we gave Melo the max would you really be disappointed? Wow if Melo doesn't deserve the max then i guess your saying only 2 or 3 other guys do.. we've wanted a star, what bigger star do you want? Be happy we have this opportunity, it doesn't come along often. If we get CARMELO ANTHONY for 2 mill more than the max, I'd still be more than ecstatic, it wouldn't even cross my mind how much we pay him until after maybe a year.. as a die hard fan, (not saying you're not) that's how I think about it.

 

I like Feigen. He is so much better than anyone else on the Chron. I know people criticize him for being the company man, but I think it is normal that you grow close to the team when you travel with them...and that you do not want to burn bridges to your sources.

 

Should we start a facebook group to convince 'Melo? Hehehe or is there already one?

 

I say start Courtney Lee if we trade Martin. He is more than qualified IMO after starting for the Magic 2 seasons ago.
