Yao has yet to win a playoff series but it would not make sense to say we couldn't use him last year. Of course we could and we would have had a great chance of getting out the 1st round with him last year.

But of course you're Redao and can't stand Yao neither so what I said you probably don't agree with.

mcgrady is NOT on playoff roster. he's in chicago rehabbing.

justice may know a thing or 2 about baseball. other than that, it's better he keeps his mouth shut. his blog is no better than an avrage fan's post here on this board.

I guess Yao can't win either.

If Tmac and Yao played like they did in the 06-07 utah jazz series and we had these roll players. That'd be amazing.

Reagardless, you can't substitute 28+ points each game.

he doesn't know about baseball at all.

but there's been a lot of discussion THIS SEASON about whether the rockets are a better team with or without tracy. a lot of that has happened right here in this forum. so an article the day after a game that suggests they could have used him and explains why isn't like pulling hakeem and clyde out of retirement.

We are better off with the 2005 Tmac 2 games into the Dallas series. After that he's been a head case every sense. Crying at podiums galore and can't get pass Utah to save his life.

Good to know the obvious and also note that TMac will not be back in H-Town next year. I hope he gets to showcase his talents somewhere else. Good Luck TMac with your new team. Can't wait to start off next season without you.

yeah, TMAC and Yao need good role players to win even one playoff series.
that's great. that's amazing. it is worth bragging about. no.

who else has been this amazing in NBA?

we could use TMAC's salary not TMAC.

Last night we scored 100+ points? Are you sure we could have scored more with TMAC? Tmac may give you 30 points, but the total points OF THE TEAM would almost remain the same if not less.

On defense end, is TMAC a plus or minus?

Tmac will be gone by next season so it don't really matter. We'll use that money and sign better player in return. I don't want Tracy back, he's broken my heart countless times and I've had it enough.

Don't recall Tmac being clutch when it counts. There's a reason he's playoff virgin.

To be fair I think everybody is referring to the Tracy of this year when they say we're better without McGrady. I'm not sure how Justice didn't grasp that.

Of course nobody's talking about McGrady in his prime. Because honestly, that would be no different than saying we'd be better with Hakeem or Clyde. They're all players that exist in the past, so what's the point of bringing it up.

This little blurb by Justice has me scratching my head saying "duh."

Ah yes, going up 2-0, stealing homecourt advantage and still managing to lose the series. Another T-Mac classic!

LOL @ the idea of him creating ANYTHING for the Rockets in the closing minutes of a game other than a bunch of horrible forced shots.

I say next year, if he is healthy, he comes off the bench, and only in situations where we are struggling offensively. Say... 10-15 min. per game tops. Even Tmac couldn't fake a chronic injury with that kind of playing time. This way we spend more time developing our young talent, but also get that offensive boost when we need it. Tmac only tries hard when we are losing anyway, so this just seems perfect.
