Great news! Plus we re-signed Walker. I didn't think we would be able to do that.

This might change our draft priorities. Hopefully it means we won't draft that overrated Tommie Harris...

Have we officially expressed interest in Antoine Winfield? Robaire Smith is a great sign, as is Wade.

I love the Texans! (And I'm SOOO glad there is something going on so that I can STOP dwelling on the Rox!)

All we need now is an outside rusher!! I think if we could pick up an OLB that could rush the quarterback, our weaknesses in the secondary wouldn't be as exposable (is that a word?). We definately got NO pressure on the quarterback last year and really need to this year.

A line of Payne, Walker, and Smith is beautiful though! AND we already got Todd Wade, the best offensive line veteran we've EVER had!?!? (besides maybe McKinney).

I LOVE the Texans... thank god for this team and Mr. McNair.

Been watching robaire Smith for a long time now. He's a little on the wild side, but he dominates, and the Texans are going to like what they see. But like I said before. He's going to give you a 15 yarder now and again. He may take the Qb out doing it tho'. He's a load.

Correction: Texans best offensive line veteran that will have ever played.

Boselli was and may always be the best offensive line veteran we've ever had.

    GO TEXANS!

WOW. Great to hear we got Smith. That is a great pickup. I am loving our D-Line. Dang. Glad there is something to take the Rockets out of my mind.

    McNair Rocks!

No kidding...this is getting me pumped up. I can't wait till the Astros start playing, in 32 days, and now the Texans.

Man, I hope the Rockets make some good offseason moves.

    thanks uprising and sam fisher...

He looks like he's a pretty good player... at first the 10 mil signing bonus seemed like quite a bit but looking at his info he seems good and 10 mil is nothing compared to some things these other guys are getting.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the playoffs. As it looks right now, the Texans must have a lot of things go right for a playoff spot. Right now, there are still many teams looking a good deal better than the Texans: NE, Denver, KC, Miami, Indy, and Tennessee. And those only take up 5 playoff spaces, as someone in the AFC North has an automatic spot. So if a couple of them messes up and we play well, then it's certainly possible.

Of course, the draft will factor in. If we get Sean Taylor at #10(I know this is a pipe dream), then I'll be more optimistic.
