[CHRON] 1994-95 ROckets: Where are they now?

I may be wrong because I'm writing this strictly from memory from back then....

...but I believe I had heard/read something after the second championship saying that the team had voted to give Maxwell a ring, but not to give Scotty Brooks one, who was traded (I think) during the season.

 

Aside from Kenny and Dream, it looks like Brooks is doing the best. He has a very bright future as an NBA head coach.

 

I think Cassell will be a head coach sooner than later.
He has 1 more ring than Brooks

 

Remember it like it was yesterday - I can even remember the look on his face (like the cheshire cat) and the sheer relief and excitement on mine when I just realized they were up 7 points with less than a minute to go. I was walking a foot off the ground for the rest of the day. That image is forever indelibly stamped in my memory and psyche.

Damn, even though I was only about 8 or 9, I loved that team. I still watch the recap DVDs of our champion years to this day. I'm hoping Kenny never gets a coaching position, just because I think he, Charles, and Ernie are the GREATEST group of studio personalities to be put together ever!
