More to the point, only ppl injured and underperforming their contract keep their option year. That's the point of Player Option is guarantee against lack of skill termination, while the pt of team options is to keep the player when overperforming their contract. You always opt out for the big payday, which is huge with the Clippers. This is the type of thread that gets fans overly excited, then the player re-ups with his team and we blame Morey for getting us excited. So sad.

I still don't think it would happen, but how the hell would you stop CP3 AND Harden? Chris Paul is an amazing basketball player and he would be an unreal get. Slightly concerned with peronality conflicts, but oh well.
