According to TMZ, he just dropped roughly 8 million on a new house. This is a strong indicator that he plans to stay in Houston IMO. I would post the link but CP's story is one of many and it takes some effort to find. Sorry if this is old news
Not a guarantee. Many players make this their home and with retirement soon within the next 5-6 years, its smart to find a place to settle for his post NBA career.
But we are in winter... did he traveled to the future? Maybe he saw we won a championship. Anyway lol I don’t know where is spring since I live in LA.
hmm cavs with a 2 game losing streak lebron realizing the heavy burden of offensively & defensively carrying a team by himself gave cp3 the go signal
He's been in Carlton Woods ever since he was traded here. Not sure if this is the same place, but the $8M price tag suggests that it is.
Yea this seems to me like it’s the same house. It was already speculated that he was living out there cause he had posted a training video from John Cooper School in The Woodlands.
Because contrary to popular belief, living in the suburbs is a socioeconomic thing, not a race thing. Better crime rates, typically better schools, cheaper land. If you're a family man, it makes sense that you want your family to have their space. EDIT: I see someone already beat me. I'm not defending Spring though. I wouldn't hurry to move to Spring.
Better crime rates and schools? You really think it's safer than River Oaks or Rice Village or Piney Point and going to St. John's, Kinkaid, or Memorial? SIL
Yeah. He lives in The Woodlands, just north of Spring. I think there's a great private school out there, which might have been a motivating factor. CP3 also said the commute was no big deal to him because coming from LA, this commute was nothing.
There must be some sort of mix up here. There is no way there is an 8 million dollar house in Spring. Spring Branch would make more sense, but even that is a stretch. Also, to those citing less traffic as a reason to live in the burbs: people who live in the burbs are literally the only people who really have to deal with traffic because using freeways is then unavoidable. I live in the Heights and very seldom even get on the freeway.
