    I've just thought of something......in the sports section of Hong Kong papers, I have never seen nicknames for players put in print, it would always be something like '高比‘ （Kobe），‘奧尼爾‘ （O'neal）Always a direct translation, never heard of any of these nicknames.

    His Mexican name would be "slapping speedy Gonzales"
