cheap airline tickets?

    I am looking to purchase a either one way airplan ticket from LA to london or a round trip ticket with returning date open, what is a good website to purchase ticket from?

    i dont know for sure, but i dont think they will let you into the country w/o a return ticket...

    Try http://www.sidestep.com. It searches the major airline ticket distributors to find the cheapest price available. Similar programs are available but I've been using this in the past.

    Cheapest you will find is
    www.hotwire.com

    BUT the catch is you do not know when your plan takes off until after you purchase the ticket....

    BUT its cheap!

    It's the only way I purchase hotel or airline tickets....

    just booked airline ticket round trip from lax to london, $430. after Tax and airport fee total come out $530
    if you are student, check out www.statravel.com
    it is almost 200 dollars cheaper than other online places :D
    London here I come!

    C'mon YoYao, don't waste your money. I'm sure that if you picked up a hot stewardess in a bar, she could make you her "special passenger" on a flight to London!

    Air Tran is almost always the cheapest. If you want cheap. Check them out first.
