2nd of all, Wallace and Martin do not play the same position, so I don't understand how you could read my post as a criticism against Martin. I'm saying that Wallace would be better than Battier as our SF as he is a much better rebounder and scorer, and almost as good on defense. Wallace is much like Artest on defense actually. He's very good. He would be the perfect compliment to Martin. If we are in win now mode, I would actually trade away Brooks for Wallace straight up. I know it sounds crazy and not many would agree with me, but we would be an easy #2 in the West, and can defend the Lakers very well to take them in the WCF. Now if I'm looking at the future, I'd keep Brooks because he's younger than Wallace.

Either way, I'd want to keep Martin no matter what, unless we net a top tier superstar.

clearly i said "we devalue him" unless your name is we .. i dont think i did any shooting of the foot ... and if you think wallace is better than martin then u can be his number one fan but in my opinion ur still devaluing him and overvaluing wallace
