http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/sports/bk/bkn/965145 "But tune in to ESPN2 on July 24. That's when Tyson Chandler will be playing with the Chicago Bulls in a summer league in Utah and, more likely than not, will perform at least one move that will at least partially justify why general manager Jerry Krause sacrificed Elton Brand to acquire him." "And I have some predictions set in my head. But I'm not going to throw them out there. Mine are high. People would look at me sideways and think I was crazy if I said some of these things that are in my head." The jury's definitely still out, but he sure does have the self-assurance to take him somewhere. ------------------ The title will come to ClutchCity once again.
Chandler needs to relax and not put so much pressure on himself. He will not be a good player right away, so he should work hard and learn. Look at Al Harrington and J. Bender. Those two have been waiting for their turn for years, and they probably will end up being very good NBA players. Chandler should pattern his development after them. ------------------
I honestly think Chandler could step in and contribute right now. He won't be GREAT, but he'll be alright. But in 3 years . . . oh man! ------------------ I'm looking for a job, so hire me "And I just have to smile and say 'well, I hope so' while I'm really thinking inside how I'd like to just strangle them and take their job."
The LA Summer Pro League Schedule has the Rocks vs Clips on Thursday and the Bulls vs Rocks on Friday. Chandler vs Cato.....hmmm.....very interesting..... I agree with the majority. Chandler should just focus on improvement and not place unnecessary pressure upon himself. ----------------- Raef to Rocks in '01-'02! [This message has been edited by GATER (edited July 11, 2001).]

Chandler had 8 points and 3 rebounds including (according to a fan who was there) 3 highlight reel dunks. Curry had 13 points and 4 boards. We lost bigtime though. By like 30 to the Grizz... ------------------
I was at the summer games today. Chandler looked good athletically, but he won't be much of a factor this season. In fact, the Bulls won't be anything this season the way they looked tonight. They had their best players on the court(Curry, Chandler, & Fizer) and still looked terrible. But it is only summer league. Battier looked good scoring and playing d. ------------------
What a name that dude has... "Baby, when I first saw you, I was Justin Love..." ------------------ So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
Whatta liar. The two highschoolers have no NBA experience and this will be a long learning cruise for them, You'd have seen a different outcome with Mercer, Artest and Crawford on the floor. Even Hoiberg and Miller. Quit that "best player" stuff. it ain't true. ------------------
But when they get Mercer, Miller, etc... on the floor, they will be playing against real NBA competition. Why the hell isn't Crawford in the summer league. Needs seasoning just as much as the two high-schoolers. ------------------ The title will come to ClutchCity once again.
He has a hyper-extended left knee. I agree---he needs the work. But check the news: The Bulls have Robinson in the fold, and may add Oakly, Anthony and Christie before the day is up. The kids won't need to play a lot. ------------------
