The scoring is set up: 3 pts. for FG 1 extra point for 40-49yds 2 extra points for 50-59yds 3 extra points for 60-99yds
Non-PPR. Standard scoring league... In my girlfriend's league I can trade Amendola and Edelman for Cobb and R. White. Should I do it? Amendola might be out for 4 weeks but I love what he can do... I realize this isn't the advice thread btw.
Do it. Amendola is a great player but his achilles is staying healthy and I'd rather have 2 guys that have proven to stay relatively healthy and that I can count on playing every week over potential rotting on the bench. I would go for it while I still had the chance.
But if I do it now Edelman is gonna have 125 and a TD tonight and White is gonna have 2 receptions for 13 yards this weekend.
You gotta think bigger picture dude. The Falcons need Roddy White, obviously they're passing game wasn't as effective against the Saints this past weekend without his production. Every defender could focus their attention on the other 2 playmakers (Julio and Tony) which freed up Harry Douglas, but lets face it he's no Roddy White. If I were you I'd take a week of Roddy getting back to full strength and being able to ride him and Randall for the next few weeks with comfort as opposed to winning that one game where Edelman went off for a respectable 125 and a TD. Especially if you have another serviceable WR. That's just me.... Edelman is good but he's nowhere near Roddy White production once at full health. Plus you get Randall Cobb who is another #2 near #1 receiver to replace your injury prone receiver.

Damn Zig, fail on your part. Before the season I was willing to part with two of my TDlicious WRs. Now jus, I have too many guys who score it's hard to set a lineup. I'm going for most points scored and ****.
Has the league scoring for your own QB being sacked always been (-2)? Its the same as throwing an interception?!? I suppose I should have researched offensive lines in making my QB selections. Not that I'm bitter that Newtom's six sacks cost me the game this week or anything.
To be honest, I am not sure that was the case last year, which is why I wanted everyone to double/triple check the scoring system before we started - make sure I didn't make any mistakes. If I make any changes now, I will be crucified, but definitely making a note on some of these............sorry, that doesn't help you much now.
