With C-Lee, they have a wing defender... C-Lee is a much better scorer than Allen as well. If they can come away with another scorer, Memphis could be a bit scarier.
That's a lot of defense, would like the rockets to look at acquiring one of them if this deal falls through.
This can't be true... User jtr claims that leaks never happen on trades that GM are seriously discussing....
Unlikely. Both Allen and Prince look to be regressing due to age. Both can't make shots and are slower defensively. Basically they are liabilities.

Yeah your probably right, but they still might have enough in there tanks for the playoffs this year.
why would memphis do this? barea sucks and budinger is not as valuable as tony allen. tony allen is the type of defender you want in the playoffs.
Rick Adelman: What the hell are you doing? Tony Allen: D'ing up. You know. Playing defense. Rick Adelman: (turns to Kevin Martin) I can't understand what he said? "Painting the fence"? Kevin Martin: I think he said "playing defense". Rick Adelman: (turns to Kevin Love) "Defense"? How do you spell it? Kevin Love: Whatever it is, I won't do it for the Lakers, either. Rick Adelman: Yeah, well, Tony, we don't do that here. Tony Allen: Then why'd you trade for me? Rick Adelman: Because, son, no one can sell a flop like you can. In last year's playoffs. When you fell to the court cradling your head when no one had even touched you? Priceless. I want to see more of that.
As much as I love Bud, Tayshaun and Allen would really help us make a playoff run down the stretch of the season. With all the close games and 4th quarter collapses, they could really help turn around the record in games decided by 5 or less
