Actually ,it's his agent that is making all the things complex.In fact ,it's a quite simple thing that carl is wanting more money but les is afraid to pay the luxtax.However ,as deke's agent said ,there is not a necessary link between paying a roster more and paying the luxtax.besides ,both deke and carl are worth more money.

It's unfair for carl to aquire that little money with pts7+ and rebs5+.After all ,carl should get more according to his perfect performances.But ,i don't think he is worthy of the full MLE.Say,if our former franchise roster francis earns just 2m per year,who are you landry to ask for 6m from your manager.Landry,man ,you may get the full MLE as long as you become franchise too and francis retires.Further, the no.1 drafe just gets 5m as salary,is it too radical and excessive to earn more than the no1 draft earns.YOu will be gonna get MLE ,but you will have to wait for another two years before that as the high drafts do.

It is with much regret that I bump this infamous and very hated thread. I will continue to bump every 2 weeks until one of 2 things occur. One, the rox reach a signed agreement with the Landry camp. Two, Landry is officially no longer a Rocket.

Hey, watch that language. I want him to be a rocket more than anything. I said I said I would stop the bump once he signs the contract Or at which point no agreement is made and he is no longer a rocket---does not mean I want or think this will happen

After his knee went bad he wasn't playing like he was before. If he isn't the same Landry before the injury, then let him go and SIGN DEKE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carl Landry does not deserve the full MLE. Until he gets his knee checked out, the Rockets are doing the right thing. I just do not understand the logic behind Landry's agent. Without getting the knee looked at, Landry will not be playing anywhere.

I fully support the Rockets brass in their position on this matter. It is time for Landry to do the right thing and get his knee checked out. The Rockets will be fair with him.

Thats true, the only true 4 we have is scola and maybe dorsy but he is a rookie. It would be smart for landry to be here bc he will get the pt that he wants

You seriously undervalue Landry. Did you watch him play his outside shot is money from 15 feet and although Dorsey is coming from college and is suppose to be a beast on the boards so is Landry. Yeah also he has post skills but on this team no isolation post plays called for him. No he cannot break defenders down off the dribble only a few power forwards can though.
