The annoucers said that he called for time with his right hand before the windup but kept his left hand on the bat and stayed in box. They climed that he did this because the ump doesnt have to give him time.

Nice throw Jimmy - looks like he was safe though.

We know you're a Cards fan... but try not to openly "root" in an Astros forum... ;)

    j/k...

Marquis has been money all night... he still has a shot to get the decision if they score in this inning.

    Damn Lidge is nasty.

Makes you wonder what he could have done as a starter (had his healthy held up).

Yeah, Berky swung at ball 4 twice.

His strike zone judgement still isnt where it was 2 years ago.

The Stros seemed to be taking an awful lot of pitches tonight. An awful lot!!

Its damn obvious that this umpire has a wide strike zone tonight (to both team's benefit), so swing the bat!!

Geez, we are just snake bit this series.

Deflected bouncer for a double. Doesnt get worse than that.

Dotel might want to mix in a slider. He has thrown nothing but fastballs it seems.

Send that 3rd base ump back to AAA - that's two horrible calls he's made.

Didn't matter, because Octavio's goin' alright - I've seen him better.
