Will Zhou Qi and Hartenstein be ready to take over in a year after Capela plays out his qualifying offer? Are there any other bigs who can do the job, preferably for the veteran minimum? Remember to keep your ideas realistic, not pie in disguise expensive players like Brook Lopez, who makes more than four million dollars.
I doubt this year Capela doesn’t play with us. But next year I say Dj. Dj knew Capela was UFA so instead of signing a long term contract he signed with the mavs for 1 year. Idk how much we could offer dj but I bet he would come for 10-12m or what we offer Capela. Even if it’s one or two years. And by then Anderson if he still with us would be easier to move to have some money for dj. So dj sign the one year to see what we did this season. He got paid too like reddik. Next year we’ll see.
James and Chris seem to like Zhou, maybe we can sign Alex Len to a two year minimum to bridge Capela out and phase Zhou and Hartenstein in
I'm getting nauseous thinking of a Zhou Qi defensive switch in a meaningful playoff game. Makes me shudder quite honestly.
No jokes or memes, a real name is someone like Deyonta Davis. And... he might be available due to lack of progress and motor concerns. Dude was very efficient, really good rim protector, and good pnr lob guy. Sound familiar?! Here's a good article https://www.grizzlybearblues.com/2018/7/9/17546448/deyonta-davis-dilemma-nba-memphis-grizzlies
Let’s sign Birdman out of the big 3 and roll. Capela can’t hit a free throw and requesting 25 mil a year
