Can the Rockets re-play the last 3 minutes against the Clippers?

    As you all know, the Rockets filed an official complaint against the 6 foul not given to Jawun evans of the Clippers.
    At first, I was like- "So what?".
    The leauge will admit its mistake and we'll go on, like always.
    But there are actually precedents that made me think again.
    In the Shaq case in 2007 (Heat vs. Hawks) the last minute was played again in the next match between the teams.
    25 years before that, in 1981-82 the Lakers and San Antonio met in a double overtime game which the officials made a mistake in favor of the lakers. San Antonio filed a complaint and in the next game they re-played the last 3 seconds of the game (Spurs won this time).
    In 1978 a game between New Jersey and Phily was redone due to to a third quarter technical foul that was assesed to the coach of the Nets instead of to Bernard King.
    The game was resumed from that point.

    So there actually is a chance, definately with the involvmant of Evans in crucial plays at the end that the last 3 minutes will be re-played, and the Rockets can actually get a seconed chance to win the game.

    As of the precedents, it seems like it doesnt matter who played in the game so Capella and Paul, theoretically could play in those 3 minutes if the leauge will decide to re-play those minutes.

    Credit to Ido Gilary who wrote about it an amazing story, unfortunately its not in English.

    I hate the idea of this. But the NBA has to show some accountability, this is the way to.

    Then they deserved to lose but it's best to feel like you lost a game due to simply failing to execute rather than getting screwed by incompetent officials.

    This is about backing the player than replaying the game. The refs made Austin Rivers look like an All-star with so many FTs (likely his career high). If we let it go, the refs will continue their illegitimate ways. Lebron has never been kicked out of a game ever until this year, I don't think Harden is a habitual abuser of refs. Don't let the refs control the game, or NBA.

    Devil's Disciple: If there is a replay, and the Rockets lose, how many threads will be created saying it was a dumb protest and makes the Rockets look stupid? Over under 5 threads?

    There won’t be a replay unless it was a scorer’s table error — which it wasn’t in this case. There is no precedent for replay due to an officiating error. Frankly, for good reason. Teams would be petitioning for replay every other game.

    There is also an argument going around about points being awarded to LA on FT’s, I saw this live but thought they would change it back... I guess they never did.

    How would they replay .Fly in the Clippers and play in an empty arena for three minutes? Can players who missed the game play?
