Can McHale seriously not even run a single play for Daniels?

This is ridiculous. Why even have a shooter in there when you wont get him a single shot?

We don't need Daniels, "A hold, a hoop, a hold and that's all we need."

The one 3 he had was off a set play, where he ran around screens like Reggie Miller.

That being said, the Blazers caught on pretty quick whenever there was a play run for him (and they simply switched on all picks).

You have to give Portland credit tonight for their defense on him. Couldn't get him open but we probably should've ran more screens for him

Daniels is not going to get any open looks via set plays other than off the occasional double team by the Blazers on Dwight and his pass out.

Actually you might not even get that because Blazers will not rotate off of Daniels. Blazers defense is locked and loaded on him now.

McHale is not going to incorporate plays for Daniels on the fly because he cant and he is slow anyways.

Troy Daniels is going to get his 3 point attempts on fast breaks or broken plays.

For your own sanity, just accept that and move on.

Troy Daniels main goal is to space the floor to get baskets in the paint. It works well because the blazers can't 'cheat' and doubling at the rim.

I am fine that Portland doesn't rotate off of Daniels. That means the other teammates are getting more open simply because Daniels is on the court.

lack of ball movement is the main contributor.
