Well I live in the Houston area and I've seen Perry ads on different times of the day..caught one this morning on Channel 2 news. Maybe because it's in Houston that White doesn't feel the need to focus a lot of his attention.
me too...because it's inexplicable to me. i get the criticims of obama. i get all that. i don't understanding actually going out and being excited to vote for rick perry. that escapes me entirely.
Except that this is a state election for a state office and not for a federal election. While I believe people are voting that way that is an issue grounded in misunderstanding of the nature of the US.
It's absolutely mind boggling. If Perry wins, he'll have served as governor for 14 FREAKING YEARS! I thought the mantra of the teabaggers was to get away from these career politicians...not keep one in office for a generation?
There's been quite a few in Austin. Finally saw a White attack ad. It's about freaking time he started hitting back at the lies and hypocrisy from Perry.
if I have to see Governor Goodhair's cheeseball smile in that stupid "Texas: Open for Business" ad one more time I'm going to put my foot through my TV.
Rick Perry's entire campaign has been predicated on tying this election to national politics, so yes he's trying to exploit that misunderstanding to the fullest extent.
One of the stranger aspects of the Perry phenomenon is the talking point that Texas is thriving and has a budget surplus. That's complete fiction, but people like my parents, in rural TX, believe it entirely and they're going to vote for Perry.
Probably not. I was just hoping there might be someone out there who could help split the vote. Four more years of Perry would be a disaster.
You would think maybe that lady running for libertarianism but then again she advocates bringing back the nullification doctrine.
