It isn't about dogma. Everything you state is about a liberal, government first dogma. People, as a general rule, will clammor for services that somebody else is paying for. When they have to pay for it, demand becomes much less. In this country, the middle class is being taxed out of existence. Government, on all levels, will at some point have to make some tough decisions.
