Calderon anyone?

They need a good backup PG. Trading Calderon away for another SG/SF to sit with Morris Peterson on the bench is not in their best interest. They have only so many minutes for Anthony Parker, Joey Graham, Morris Peterson, Andrea Bargnani(#1 draft pick they are developing), PJ Tucker, and Fred Jones. If the SG don't fit, you must acquit.(bad Cochran pun).

Calderon doesn't ride pine. He gets 20-25 minutes a game and starts in place of an injured TJ Ford, an injury prone PG.

edit: It would leave Darrick Martin as their primary backup PG. Darrick Martin would be their starting PG in a TJ Ford injury stint.

being a huge raptors fan as well i got to say the guy will fit in perfectly with the rockets team, he's such a smart friggin player. he usually always makes the right decisions. plus he can shoot...he should be a starter in this league.

however, there is zero chance that they give him up......
