She has a chance to be the greatest WNBA player of all time, but the athleticism gap is too big in the NBA, unfortunately. She wouldn't be able to get space against anyone on offense or stay in front of anyone on defense. I'm sure she could knock down some corner threes when help defenders sagged off really far to challenge other shots but that's about the limit of what she could accomplish if she were somehow signed to an NBA contract, I expect.
The world champion US Women's Soccer team had a scrimmage with the Argentine U-15 team, and got promptly run off the field. The real world isn't a Disney movie.
She put herself on the map this week. Right up there with Breanna and Swoopes. Knockin it out on the park in terms of interest. The WNBA will probably squash it a bit because nobody watches, but she has eyeballs right now, so there is money to be made.
LSU was on fire today. Kind of like Miami against UH. It is the nature of the game. Even consistently good teams can run into an opponent that starts shooting out of their minds.
