I think last season they had a nice stretch when Bogdanovic was healthy, it all falls with Bogdanovic IMO.

Charlotte and Washington might have better records, the Net Differential is worse than that of the Pistons....

 

Mobley himself sucks ass he only became a DPOY candidate due to bs from Bill Simmons/Ringers voters.if Mobley and Cade got traded for each RN you will see Cades numbers shoot up and Mobley will plummet without Allstars to set him up.

2 yrs ago people were praising Weaver as one of the best GMs and Stone sucks in comparison lol how the turn tables turn.

I don't think Weaver did anything majorly wrong you just don't know how prospects will evolve over time. They are only 4 yrs into their rebuild since they got Killian Hayes and since they messed up there it's gonna set them back some.

 

Show me those people I'll put them on ignore. This guy has no sense of roster construction. Keeps signing or trading for bigs and drafting guards. The whole roster is a mess. They drafted 3 ball dominant guards with iffy jumpers in a row in Cade, Ivey and Hayes which would be ok if they surrounded them with shooting. They keep acquiring bust bigs like Wiseman, Bagley, Noel and even tried for Bolbol when they already have their own Stewart and Duren to develop. The only decent shooters on that team are Bogdanovic and Harris and they're both always injured.

Remember our 4 out 1 in offense with Hakeem? Pistons think it's trash so they play 4 in 1 out. No spacing, all defenders in the paint. It's just a party in there. How is a drive and kick guard like Cade supposed to operate in an environment like that? Also, at least Stone tried to structure the cap long term to let us sign more impactful guys like FVV and Brooks on big contracts. Weaver would just sign 4 Londale/Theiss contracts every year.

 

This just shows how hard it is to rebuild a team one mistake can set you back a lot.
