    Are there any 64 bit processor laptops out there? How important is it to get a computer that has one? I'm looking for a new laptop, but don't want to buy one if it means that I won't be able to use all the the features of Vista when it is released.

    64bit won't boost games, and most games don't even support it.

    If you aren't doing any number intensive programs, namely professional digital editing, it won't be that big a deal for another 3 years.

    It has potential, but buying one now for average home use isn't worth much for its price. Get it later when the early adopters have worked out the kinks and lowered the price....

    Dell.com and go to the factory outlet section and get the machine you want at about 30% less than new.
