Of course Pakistan isn't part of the Arab world. But they also aren't democratic or free. It is normal for all people to make mistakes, and busy people with many tasks on their plate can certainly be forgiven for some. But it happens to Bush more often than most, and it makes the guy look completely clueless, and takes away value from the words that he speaks.
LMAO! Pakistan a part of the "Arab world"? OMG! Bush is perpetuating the very stereotype his critics have been accusing him of: he can't tell "those brown people apart, Al-Qaeda attacks us, so we invade Iraq!!!" Oh man, can't someone give the President of the freakin' United States a crash-course in geography and a quick overview of the region...oh, and can someone please tell him that Arabs and Muslims are not synonymous terms that mean the same thing (i.e not all Muslims are Arabs, and vice versa)? Embarassing, I imagine the media is going to have a field day with this one
To give GW numbnuts a (very) small bit of benefit of the doubt - perhaps his statement can be interpreted as "[Pakistan] can be a force for freedom in the arab world [even though, as any person with common sense knows, the Pakistanis are not arabic but in fact Indo-Aryan]. Of course, he's a goddamned moron who's proud of the fact that he sees as little of the world as possible [this is not disputed] and likes to sit around and sweat in a sh-thole outside Waco rather than see the world and is proudly disdainful of intellectual curiosity - so he probably didn't mean it that way - but I'm giving him the small bit of benefit of the doubt nonetheless out of respect for the office.
Your reading comprehension is the only thing here that classifies as clueless. Seriously, you read with such a biased mind that you do not comprehend what is written. Open your mind - no need to be so close-minded, FB.
all muslims equal terrorists, thats all i need to know Muslim/Terrorist/Arab = ALALAALALALALALALALAALALA
