I'm cringing at the fact that we just won 3 in a row yet still have to play a 4th game. IMO 3 wins is plenty and first round definitely needs an exception if not the first two rounds. Doubt the NBA wants to lose revenue though
That's an idea. I'm sure coaches/owners would complain but in reality the fans and players know it's over after 3...it's just awkward for everyone involved
Has any team ever come close to coming back, 3 games down? Obviously no one has ever done it, but has anyone fought to, and lost, a game 7, after being down 3-0?
It's easy to say this now that we are up 3-0 but if we were down 3-0, you would be desperate for an extra game to prove yourself.
Not many. Nuggets came back on Jazz in 1994 and lost in game 7. NBA remains only major sport without an 0-3 series comeback.
I would do it, the nba is the league with more teams that makes the playoffs, so why not, eliminate the lower seeds faster.

why reduce league income this way, better reduce regular season games actually i want 4 playoff teams each conference
No. The concept of a 7 game series is to as much as possible, lower the odds off an upset. As an NBA fan, I want the better team to advance. In an NBA business standpoint, those are $$$.
